Iceland’s Sinatra; singer and performer Ragnar Bjarnason is celebrating his 75th birthday. Happy Go Lucky is a feature length documentary about the much beloved singer and performer Ragnar Bjarnason – RB was prescreened at Reykjavik International Film Festival RIFF.
The film which is directed by Arni Sveinsson is a full length documentary examining RB’s career and influence on the icelandic music scene. Ragnar Bjarnasson’s career spans over 60 years. Now at 75 he is ready to examine his career and allow us access to the idol Raggi Bjarna who is much loved by people of all ages.
The camera follows him during a grand performance in the honor of his seventy fifth birthday and gives us a glimpse of the pendulous chances of his life and career as a singer and performer.
